THE

REDCARPET

In collaboration with key professionals from the fields of education, social psychology, filmmaking, literary writing, theater, journalism, and more, the HUEmankind FEST 2023 will feature Film Screenings of short videos developed by students in our Stories in Schools pilot program throughout the year.

There will also be a Roundtable Discussion curated by a local news professional, featuring several groups of students and teachers talking about their projects.

This Red Carpet Event will showcase and empower our youth to teach the adults of our community what a more positive and inclusive future can look like.

FEST 2021

Our inaugural HUEMankind FEST launched in 2021, during COVID lockdown. We invited participants from all over the county to share their stories about their experiences as artists, academics, activists and teachers.

Due to continued pandemic restrictions, we chose not to produce the HUEMankind FEST in 2022, instead focusing our time and resources on planning a community-wide RED CARPET event for 2023.
